Position Overview:The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is equal parts slayer of identifying, cultivating and bringing talent into the organization and providing expertise to the Human Resources Department. The TABP will bring a deep, strategic mindset to the organization, and partner with the Deputy Director of Human Resources and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to not only meet today's talent needs, but to strategize on long-term talent management priorities. In this role, you will also collaborate closely with leadership to enhance the employer brand to successfully identify, attract and retain top talent.Position Responsibilities:Oversee full-cycle recruitment, ensuring consistent communication with hiring managers.Collaborate with hiring managers to update job descriptions, requirements and responsibilities.Identify and implement successful recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.Post open positions, manage online advertisement and update community partners.Screen and select qualified candidates, schedule and attend interviews with hiring managers/directors/additional stakeholders.Create position-specific interview questionnaires and best-practice FAQ.Manage the offer process, make salary range recommendations, and set start dates.Comply with federal/state/local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.Attend and host job fairs and recruitment events.Maintain records of training and development activities and outcomes.Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, facilitators, and team members.Complete required reference/background checks.Partner with organizational leaders to align recruitment efforts with business objectives.Streamline the hiring process to ensure a variety of suitable candidates for hiring managers.Support new hire orientation and onboarding.Plan and forecast workforce needs.Thought partner and strategize on organizational talent needs.Collaborate with leadership to establish a consistent brand identity appealing to candidates.Increase brand awareness through boosting organizational presence on online platforms.Develop and build relationships with external agencies that may refer suitable candidates.Design and conduct training for all team members who support recruitment efforts.Ensure that hiring practices are inclusive, diverse and offer equal opportunities to all.Assist with routine human resources matters related to employee relations, benefits administration and learning and development.Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources, related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.3-5 years managing all phases of full cycle recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.2+ years of experience in Benefits Administration.Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and good negotiation tactics.Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.Proficient with/ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software, recruitment systems, Microsoft Office Suite and related software.Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and demonstrated skills in understanding cultural differences.Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.Creative problem solver. Sees challenges as opportunities to think outside the box.
Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience working in a union environment.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.Commitment to Agate Housing and Services' values and mission of ending homelessness and relieving hunger through action and advocacy.Commitment to working towards an anti-racist culture both within Agate Housing and Services and the broader community.Hold the belief that every household can achieve housing stability.Commitment to harm reduction and housing first philosophies.Work respectfully with clients, coworkers, and key stakeholders who are diverse with respect to race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, and religion.Ability to establish rapport quickly with people experiencing a crisis through use of trauma informed care, client centered care, and strengths-based approaches.Ability to meet expectations regarding paperwork and documentation through organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately, competency and comfort using technology and computers.
