POSITION SUMMARY:HydroChain stormwater management systems provide a portfolio of products to effectively manage the lifecycle of a raindrop. The HydroChain system captures, conveys, infiltrates, stores, and finally treats the stormwater to ultimately provide usable water back to the community. The Territory Sales Manager will lead the strategic business development activity to include growing stormwater product sales, stormwater product development, continuous improvement, technical support, and engaging our design/engineering team to develop systems for our extensive HydroChain line of stormwater management products. Territory will include TX, OK, AR & LA. The Territory Sales Manager will work closely with the Regional Stormwater Sales Manager, Inside Sales Support Team, manufacturing reps, distribution, engineering/consultants, and contractors to position HydroChain as the stormwater management system of choice and increase sales to Industrial and Commercial customers. Work with the engineering/design team to provide end-users/consultants a value-add design for their site(s). Act as a liaison between HydroChain support teams and end-user/consultant during the site design phase, provide complete pricing and drawing package, attend pre-con meetings (if required), obtain purchase orders, and process orders for delivery. Work as required with Sr. Manager, Technical Programs to achieve approvals from local, state, and federal authorities. This position involves hands-on research and development of new designs and products for the HydroChain product line. It also involves working closely when required with the Xerxes water and wastewater product and applications engineering team. Candidates will possess and practice effective problem solving, clear & concise communication, a collaborative approach, and an aptitude for managing risk. This position will be based in Texas and will require travel for meetings with the customers, engineers, regulators, and other key members of the HydroChain and Xerxes teams. Flexible home office work environment is typical.DUTIES:The primary responsibility of the Territory Sales Manager is to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets for the assigned territory, as well as open and develop market opportunities for our retention/detention, infiltration, and stormwater treatment products with Industrial and Commercial customers. Establish, maintain and grow a distribution, direct sales channel network.Work with Sr. Manager, Stormwater to position stormwater products to gain regulatory acceptance for their use in design and construction specifications at the local and national level with civil engineering/consulting firms.The position will be responsible for managing a direct territory with distribution, engineering/consultants, and end-users. Generate new business opportunities, conversions, gain approvals, and orders for products.Manage pricing, work with logistics and purchasing to secure orders and deliver.Work with Sales Director to establish yearly sales goals and objectives.Territory travel is anticipated to be >50%.Work with Inside Sales team to track projects in the CRM database.Develop and communicate product and application knowledge.Get HydroChain Stormwater Products specified on projects early in the design phase.See the project through to the final sale.Provide technical support and training for internal sales engineers and external reps.Participate in the bidding/quoting processes, purchase order, order acknowledgment, delivery, and onsite logistics for continuous improvement opportunities.Maintain and provide sales reports.Drive Stormwater business development and strengthen strategic/commercial partnershipsThe Territory Sales Manager is a key member of the HydroChain stormwater team and will play a major role in the strategic business development for HydroChain stormwater products.The successful candidate must have a proven record of delivering a value proposition, technical sales, and the ability to provide solutions and resolve conflict.This person will have the ability to develop relationships and work with all potential customers utilizing all sales materials via customer presentations.This person will have distribution and network development experience. Will work with a distribution network and continued growth.Have a strong operating knowledge of water distribution opportunities, civil engineering plan sets, and contractor installations means and methods.Contribute to business/strategic planning and communicationsContribute as required to the market development strategy for the North American stormwater market.Prepare and drive implementation of action plans for selected products/systems/solutions.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - preferred.Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.Proven sales record, management experience, and solid technical background.Strategy and business planning skills.Proficient with MS Office Suite.Expected US travel – >50%.Expected Canada travel 1 – 2 times a year.
