Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Sun Country Airlines is searching for a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our expanding strategic sourcing team. As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst, you will collaborate with and serve on behalf of stakeholders across all departments of the company to manage the complete sourcing lifecycle from RFP to contract execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Lead sourcing initiatives
for services spanning passenger, charter and cargo operations, including ground handling, wheelchair services, de-icing, and ad-hoc services, ensuring sourcing activities are in alignment with the airline’s operational and budgetary goals.Analyze and negotiate contracts
with vendors, focusing on optimal terms for cost, quality, and service levels.Develop cost analyses and pricing models
to evaluate and compare vendor proposals, contributing to well-informed decision-making on contract awards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams
including ground operations, finance, and legal to ensure alignment on project objectives and expedite sourcing and contracting processes.Monitor vendor performance
and compliance with service agreements, identifying and resolving issues that arise to maintain high standards in ground operations and services.Drive continuous improvement and innovation
by identifying opportunities to enhance sourcing processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring consistency and efficiency in vendor selection and contract management.Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities
through market analysis, vendor negotiations, and process improvements to help achieve financial targets.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or similar analytical field.Aptitude for operations finance; experience with budget and variance analysis.2 years in a full-time analytical position.Ability to plan, work and meet project results independently.Proficient PC skills including MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.PREFERRED SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU APARTRoll-up-your-sleeves mindset.Familiarity with the airline industry / airline economics.Advanced degree that relates to the role.Procurement/purchasing background and/or certifications.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job primarily operates in a professional office environment.
