Grow market share by increasing preference and loyalty to the Marvin brands by developing strong business relationships with the targeted specification and purchase influencers in the architectural and building community.Effectively and professionally present AIA Continuing Educational learning units to architectural firms.Actively pursue business development with facility managers and owners of institutional properties.Plan and host factory tours with targeted architects, designers, channel partners, and trade customers.Provide product and technical solutions on individual project opportunities.Work with regional sales team to assess and develop channel partners' programs, expertise, and services necessary to successfully sell to the architectural and commercial segments.Develop, maintain, and communicate a strong understanding of market conditions, trends, and the competitive environment.Represent Marvin brands at trade shows and events.Effectively utilize CRM (Salesforce.com) to document sales efforts and to maximize efficiency.Develop channel partners' focus on Marvin brands through effective training and communication.Support and implement company sales and marketing programs, and product introductions.Significant travel required throughout the assigned territory, including overnight stays; valid driver's license is required.Ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion by effectively managing high profile and complex projects throughout the entire sales process.Raise the overall performance and effectiveness of the regional sales team through leadership, mentoring, and training.Assist Regional Manager (RM) in the development and Implementation of regional sales plans and regional meeting leadership, agenda development, and planning.Be involved at a leadership level within local, regional, or national trade association (ie. AIA, CSI) to develop relationships and create brand awareness and loyalty.Actively develop and lead key training opportunities. Be the lead trainer on new initiatives, products, technology, and company programs.Assist marketing department with AIA/CES presentation development. Conduct educational presentations at national/regional trade events (e.g., AIA, CSI).Mentor and train new APMs (development plan of 6 to 12 months). Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for open sales positions.Participation in cross functional teams or planning teams and take a leadership role on various team assignments.Salary Range
Total earning potential is $105,000-$160,000 including base salary and monthly sales incentives, although there is no cap on incentive earnings.You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.6+ years of premium building products experience in an architectural environment.Prior experience leading or mentoring others required.Previous experience in the fenestration or premium building material industry preferred.Valid driver's license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record.Willing/able to frequently travel within designated territory which will require some overnight stays.Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.Ability to work with required technology, software applications, CRM platform (Salesforce.com).We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin
