Temporary Part-Time, Business Instructor
Teach community college level courses in Business Administration, Business Transfer Curriculum, Economics, Accounting, Management, and Marketing both in theory and application. May also be required to teach online courses.Duties & Responsibilities
The Peralta Community College District invites applications for our Temporary, Part-Time Faculty pool in the following disciplines:Minimum Qualifications
1.
Possession of a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business, business administration, business management, accountancy, business education, finance or marketing;OR2.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business, business administration, business management, accountancy, business education, finance or marketing;AND
Master’s Degree in economics, personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B Degree;OR3.
Bachelor’s in economics with a business emphasis;AND4.
May submit a fully satisfied lifetime California Community College Instructor Credential authorizing service to teach courses in Real Estate.OR5.
The equivalent qualifications.(Candidates who claim equivalency must provide conclusive evidence.)AND6.
Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.Desirable Qualifications
Teaching business in a multi-cultural environment, preferably lower-division college teaching experience.Practical, applied experience in business, accounting, and/or management.Demonstrated technology skills especially in teaching online and using technology in the classroom.Experience in teaching other business courses including general business, business law, marketing, accounting and management.An interest in distance learning instruction (online courses).Application Procedures
