Candidates should possess excellent academic credentials and demonstrate superior research and writing abilities.Duties:Analyze and interpret insurance coverage issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.Handle insurance coverage disputes, reinsurance matters, and provide comprehensive legal advice and representation.Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery requests.Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and handling discovery motion practice.Conduct depositions, represent clients in court appearances, trials, and other legal proceedings.Develop and maintain client relationships, managing cases independently from inception through resolution.Engage in business development activities to attract and retain clients and grow the firm’s insurance and reinsurance practice.Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop effective case strategies and ensure thorough case management.Stay informed on industry trends, legal developments, and changes in insurance and reinsurance laws.Requirements:2 to 6 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.Extensive experience in drafting legal documents, managing discovery, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court.Preferred experience in business development, client management, and independent case management.Excellent academic credentials with demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Virginia State Bar or eligibility to practice in Virginia.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases and insurance coverage issues.Experience in business development and client management.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
