ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking an experienced and motivated Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to work on our NOC Services Team. This position will be located at Peterson AFB in Colorado.
The NOC analyst will be responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of our network infrastructure by monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving network issues.
What you'll do:
Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
Coordinate incident response and resolution efforts, ensuring minimal downtime for network services.
Implement NOC processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network changes and upgrades.
Maintain documentation of training standards, incidents, and procedures.
Provide regular reporting on Cyber threats, incidents, and resolutions to management.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance network operations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the Cybersecurity team to ensure best practices are being implemented.
QualificationsWhat you'll need:
Education: 2 years with BS/BA or HS plus 6 years of experience in network operations or Cybersecurity.
Clearance: TS/SCI.
Strong knowledge of Security protocols.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
Relevant certifications: Security + is required.
Target Salary Range$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
