programs.This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.What you will do:Coordinate and guide the preparation and submission of proposals, including statements of work, deliverables, budgets, and required forms ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documents.Manage contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.Lead cost-rate negotiations with Cognizant Agency.Develop, maintain, and continuously improve robust processes for proposal submission and contract negotiation.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including U.S. Government requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners regarding NDAs, proposal submissions, and contract negotiations.Assist in the development of negotiation strategies, identifying contract risks, and offering risk management strategies.Maintain current knowledge of Federal and State regulations and company policies.Communicate proposal objectives, status, and contract terms clearly to technical teams, senior leadership approval, and across business units.Coordinate with the Legal team on intellectual property and other key issues.Mentor and train internal stakeholders on contract negotiation process compliance.Building Trusting Relationships.Negotiations.Process Excellence.Project Management.What you will bring:U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or contract management. Master’s Degree is preferred.5+ years of experience in contract negotiation especially for U.S. Government-funded R&D contracts and cooperative agreements. Along with knowledge of corporate business practices, U.S. commercial contracting regulations, subcontracting practices, and accounting and finance principles.Proficient in Project Management fundamentals and leading project teams across geographic and functional areas. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Ability to identify and resolve contractual risks.Understanding of allowable expenses, required justifications, and cost share for proposal and contract budgets. Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across functions and levels.Experience with protecting Intellectual Property through Non-Disclosure Agreements and Contracts processes. Ability to develop and implement new and improved processes and metrics.Experience managing contracts, sub-contracts, and contractual flowdowns including:Contract Types: T&M, Cost Plus, FFP, CRADA, NDA, and multiparty NDA.Federal Standards & Regulations: 2CFR200, FAR, DEAR, supplements.Compliance: GAO and OMB standards.Export control & intellectual property restricted data.NCMA/NGMA certification (CGMS, CFCM, CPCM) is a plus.Compensation:Disclaimer: This "range" could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed, education, experience, travel requirements for the job, or because of a system the employer uses to measure earnings by quantity or quality of production (so, for example, positions that may not have traditional salary ranges).We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
