This strategic role involves leading negotiations with various partnerships, leading all the corporate governance work across all the company entities, and helping shape the future ecosystem of digital assets. You'll report directly to the General Counsel of Privacy and Business Affairs, acting as a vital bridge between legal and various global teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead a Corporate Transaction Practice:
Work closely with business partners to negotiate, structure and draft legal agreements related to key corporate transactions, such as M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures.
Manage a Broad Portfolio of Company Matters:
Work closely with partners in Compliance and Finance to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across the company’s global entities.Advise on best practices for Intellectual Property protection and value maximization.Serve as trusted advisor on corporate litigation matters as well as other kinds of disputes.
Shape the Future of Digital Assets:
Play a key role in developing legal frameworks for the company’s network of digital asset products and services. Stay ahead of trends and regulatory developments in cryptocurrency and fintech, offering legal solutions that support innovation and growth.
Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NY bar.Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in corporate law, preferably in law firms, tech, or SaaS companies.
