About the Role
GlossGenius is looking for a Strategic Finance Associate / Lead to support financial and strategic analysis, forecasting and budgeting, and management and investor reporting, while displaying curiosity, proactivity, and accountability. You will partner closely with executives and business leaders across the organization to evaluate strategic business decisions and drive financially informed decision making practices.
You will report to the Senior Director of Finance. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
What You'll DoAct as a strategic thought partner to executives and department heads, leading creation of financial and data analyses with impactful insights and recommendationsTrack, analyze, and forecast key business/financial KPIs with aim of uncovering trends and assessing current/future business risks and opportunitiesHelp lead the quarterly financial forecast and budget planning process, working in close partnership with executives and department leadersPrepare management and investor reporting, including materials for Board of Directors meetingsDevelop and maintain comprehensive financial and operating models for the entire company and individual areas of our businessPerform research and develop frameworks to support the executive team in defining short and long-term strategy and objectivesIdentify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting, reporting, procurement, and capital allocation tools and systemsWhat We're Looking For
3-7 years experience in strategic finance, FP&A, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, public markets investing, or equity researchStrong analytical skills and deep experience building integrated financial modelsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels within the organizationExceptional attention to detailProficiency with core financial and business intelligence systems (e.g., NetSuite, Looker) is a plusBenefits & Perks

The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $110,000-$160,000 plus target equity and benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius's equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
