Our client is a hedge fund located in New York City looking for a Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join their team. This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact on the bottom line of a Fixed-Income focused fund. This role requires work to be performed in-office five days a week in New York City, NY.Qualifications:2-3+ years of professional industry experience working in a Data Science or Data Engineering role.Experience developing and implementing data models and data pipelines for forecasting and risk analysis in the Fixed Income, Market Data, and/or Real Estate space.Hands-on experience with:Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn)SQLAzure (or AWS, GCP, etc.)General knowledge and experience with Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Modeling, Predictive Modeling, Reporting, and Analytics are helpful.BS or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, etc. are required.The Data Scientist / Engineer will work in a collaborative environment and will interact with various stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
