Vice President, People
Role Summary:The Vice President-People is dedicated to fostering a thriving workplace culture that aligns with Clover’s core values, ethics, and mission. As a strategic HR leader, this role partners across the organization to implement and sustain programs that attract, engage, develop, and recognize top talent. The ideal candidate is an accomplished HR strategist and people leader with a proven track record of executing HR initiatives that drive business results and reinforce organizational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include overseeing talent management, organizational development, employee relations, change management, and employee experience to enhance company performance and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Serve as a strategic business partner and advisor, collaborating with senior leadership on staffing, recruitment, and retention strategies.
Lead and oversee HR program administration, including compensation, performance management, employee relations, productivity, recognition, and morale-building initiatives.
Develop and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with state, federal, and governmental regulations, especially for government contractors.
Conduct analyses of HR trends and metrics, using insights to shape solutions, programs, and policies that align with organizational goals.
Drive continuous improvement in work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
Employee Relations
Establish and maintain clear HR policies and objectives related to employee relations in partnership with department leaders.
Lead thorough investigations of employee complaints, providing guidance on complex employee relations issues and recommending effective resolutions.
Partner with manager and supervisors on all employee relations.
Strong people partner with the Operations team for Union employee relations.
Compliance and HR Operations
Oversee the administration of HR programs, including benefit provider selection, quality, cost, and compliance.
Ensure company compliance with legal reporting requirements, such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, and ERISA, with a focus on minimizing legal exposure.
Manage new hire, promotion, transfer, and termination processes, ensuring paperwork is accurate and timely.
Talent Management & Organizational Development
Oversee the annual performance evaluation cycle and employee development programs, driving strategies for recruitment, hiring, and succession planning.
Design and implement organizational development initiatives, including succession planning, employee retention, and change management programs.
Facilitate employee communication and feedback programs, utilizing surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one meetings to foster transparency and continuous improvement.
Compensation & Benefits
Collaborate with the leadership team to define and manage Clover’s compensation strategy, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
Conduct regular market analyses to assess compensation trends, supporting ongoing pay structure effectiveness and cost management.
Qualifications:
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including experience in employment law, labor relations, compensation, organizational development, and union contract negotiation.
Deep expertise in HR compliance for state, federal, and government contractor requirements.
Strong track record in employee relations, with proven experience in coaching, disciplinary processes, and performance management.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or HR certifications are a plus.
Salary:$197,500.00 - $232,400 annually, DOE.
