We’re seeking a Full-Time Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our design team at our Central Florida headquarters. As a member, you would be a key contributor among innovative professionals.Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as Engineer of Record for various projects and/or project tasks with a construction value over $75 million.Design structural framing and foundation systems.Design Prestressed Precast Concrete components and connections.Provide technical support throughout all project stages from Conceptual Design through construction.Oversee and support the activities of designers and engineering interns.Provide leadership on the development of company standards and processes in agreement with company leadership.Lead engineering coordination with internal and external clients or trades as well as design team members.Process RFIs and Shop Drawings.Establish and maintain schedules for assigned projects.This role must be able to handle stressful situations, multi-tasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets.Overtime (40+ hours) may be required as needed.This position reports to the Chief Project EngineerThis role must be able to handle stressful situations, multi-tasking, and working within reasonable time constraints to meet production schedules and budgets. A four-year degree in civil or structural engineeringPossess an Engineering Intern license already the ability to get licensed in the State of Florida within 1 yearDesign experience with concrete and structural steelExperience with prestressed/precast concrete is a plusA minimum of 8 years of experience as a design or precast engineerGeneral knowledge of building construction methods, building systems, and project costsPossess excellent time management and organizational skillsTeam player and great at collaborating with othersCurrently residing in Central Florida or are willing to relocateSalary commensurate with experienceMust reside in Central Florida or be willing to relocate401K Plan – Very generous Employer Matching: for 20 out of the last 25 years, we have matched 100% of Employee contributions up to 15% of base salary so you can relax and retire one day.100% employer-paid health insurance for employees and contribution toward “family” coverageLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insuranceGenerous paid time off programLegal Stuff
