The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience representing various stakeholders in energy and infrastructure transactions and will be adept at managing complex deals and client interactions.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent sponsors, developers, investors, financial institutions, and other market participants in renewable energy and energy transition finance transactions.Handle mergers and acquisitions (M&A) related to energy and infrastructure projects.Advise clients on project finance and tax equity transactions within the U.S. renewables and power sector.Negotiate and draft material project agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) agreements, etc.Collaborate with clients and team members to manage complex transactions effectively.Provide strategic legal advice on energy project development and financing.Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional work.Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in energy and infrastructure transactions.Extensive experience in project finance and tax equity transactions within the U.S. renewables and power sector.Demonstrated expertise in negotiating material project agreements such as PPAs, EPC, and O&M contracts.Proven ability to manage complex transactions and interact with clients effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Admitted to practice law in California.Prior experience working in a law firm setting.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar of California.Skills:In-depth knowledge of renewable energy finance and project development.Proficiency in negotiating and drafting complex contractual agreements.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Comfortable with client interaction and managing client expectations.
