Based in Salt Lake City, Ut, reporting to the Head of Human Resources for North America, the HR Business Partner will provide human resources support to the leadership of a Business Unit where the leadership and employees are mainly based in North America but can also include Europe or Asia Pacific in some cases. This position carries out critical business partnering responsibilities including supporting alignment of the Alter Domus global human capital strategy and serving as a trusted adviser to executives and line of business leadership and employees.
YOU WILL:
Provide guidance and advice to senior leaders across the Business Unit teams in North America and beyond.
Build broad internal and external partnerships and networks to support organization and line of business human resources needs across the entire employee lifecycle.
Partner with global HR Centers of Excellence - Talent; Organisational Effectiveness & Learning and Development; HR Operations and Reward and Performance to deliver expert HR support to your stakeholders.
Partner with HRBPs in other regions to support your leaders with their global teams ensuring a seamless HR experience to your North America stakeholders.
Serve as a key advisor on employee relations, supporting the business through performance improvement plans, terminations and exit interviewing.
Drive the adoption and implementation of best practice global human resource initiatives – acting as a change agent and champion to embed new tools, programs and processes to improve the employee experience.
Manage the performance management and compensation cycle.
Deliver insight and data to aid the decision making around talent and human capital needs for the business.
Maintain accurate records, reports, policies and procedures to ensure the HR department is fully compliant for internal and external auditing purposes.
Support the business to drive employee engagement using the Alter Domus employee engagement tools to deliver insight into how to improve retention and engagement.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and delivery of services performed.
Participate in special projects related to People such as return to office activities, workforce analytics, organization design, mergers and acquisitions, talent and reward programs design, deploying Diversity and Inclusion local initiatives, etc.
YOUR PROFILE:
You have 5-7 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably with experience as an HR Business Partner.
You have fluent written and spoken American English skills.
You are detail-oriented and can organize your work independently.
You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and embrace technology solutions and efficient processes.
You enjoy analyzing data and information and communication of complex ideas in a simple easy to understand way.
You have a working knowledge of US employment laws.
You have an interest in working in a fast-paced, growing global company.
You enjoy problem solving, collaboration and providing world class customer service to employees, HR colleagues and business leaders.
You are available to meet with our global HR team during reasonable non-core hours at times, when required.
You will manage highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way.
