This is not a remote position. You are expected to be in the office or with customers as needed.This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilities
The Professional Services FedCiv Team aims to help customers design modern applications as they go digital. UX is a major part of the FedCiv Team, where good storytelling starts with great listening, collaborating with UX peers, designing high-quality products, where you use design skills to find solutions that transform knowledge of the customer into compelling product features and services. Your sensitivity to customer experience ensures we produce a premium product that delivers results for the business and delight to our customers.Lead Inception Workshop to complete digital product design, including product vision, user profiling, user journey analysis, user research, etc.Present design work to customer executive leadership using visuals, writing and verbal communications.Create wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and visual design specifications for mobile first web experiences.Contribute to user experience design guidelines and documentation of best practices and standards.About the team

4+ years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.A track record of designing and delivering digital products that align customer needs and business goals; illustrated with a portfolio.Experience with several design approaches, methods, and tools that you can use to plan and estimate your project work.Experience using a variety of design tools to craft an effective approach, estimate, and plan in response to design requests.Current, Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with software development life cycle (sdlc) and agile/iterative methodologies.Must illustrate solving for multi-platform UX challenges and demonstrate scalable, user-friendly design solutions.Experience planning and executing effective customer research, solo, or in partnership with a UX Researcher.Exceptional problem-solving and design instincts who can translate user and business needs into design solutions.Strong visual design skills to complement your UX skill.A strong track record of iterative design, working closely with product and tech partners from inception through implementation.Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently.Experience in business analysis and agile project management.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
