Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a dynamic, Industry leading Vice President & Manager of Engineering to lead a growing Parsons Federal engineering practice.
We would prefer to have this role reside in our Pasadena, CA office.
Relocation assistance will be available for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and manage a nationwide, multidisciplinary design team to support multibillion dollar design and design build programs.
Supervise a large-scale organization of 300 designers and engineers across the US.
Execute existing design programs on budget, within schedule and of sound quality.
Lead the bidding and proposal efforts for design and engineering content and contribute to the technical solution.
Meet with customers/travel to customers as needed to facilitate technical conversations and to grow the business.
Provide site leadership for the Pasadena primary design site and lead remotely and through site visits other design locations across the US.
Strategically plan the engineering portfolio including staffing, overhead, investments, (capital, expense, IRAD).
Engage in professional societies and the technical community as a recognized industry leader in the field.
Bring technically savvy and improvements to the engineering execution/delivery process.
Participate as part of the Parsons extended leadership team upholding the company’s core values.
Plan for regional growth strategies (real estate and staffing decisions).
What Required Skills/Education You'll Bring:
Hold PE licensure in CA, VA, OH, IL, MI, NC, NY (and others with Officer requirements) and experience as a firm qualifier/officer.
Minimum of 20 years of experience managing design jobs with a pedigree of experience in the business, including performing engineering design and field engineering.
Experience with DOD, DOE, and other federal client design requirements, including DOE NQA-1.
Experience with integration of Engineering software data sets to generate engineering deliverable packages.
Project Engineering and Project Management experience required.
Experience working in a matrixed organization with diverse needs.
Excellent communicator and self-starter.
Understanding of A/E services, Owners Engineer contracting, Design/Build, construction phase support, and EPC contracting methodologies.
Experience with Brooks Act/SF330 proposal development.
Willing to learn and utilize Parsons 80 year project legacy.
Travel approx. 25% - 35%.
Must have TS/SCI clearance to start.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Salary Range: $179,800.00 - $343,700.00.
