Job Title: Vice President of Construction
SERVPRO Team Zubricki is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to serve as the Vice President of Construction for all franchise locations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the construction department, ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. The Vice President of Construction will also play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, including new service offerings and market expansion.Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the construction department, including hiring, training, and evaluating staffOversee all construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completionDevelop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry partnersReview project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulationsDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelinesMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior managementCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop new service offerings and expand market reachIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance department efficiency and effectivenessStay current on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvementPosition Requirements
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial and residential projectsStrong leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyFamiliarity with construction software and tools, such as Procore and BluebeamKnowledge of building codes and regulationsExperience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWillingness to travel as neededExposure to extreme conditions such as heatAbility to walk and/or stand for long periods of time (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsExposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loudAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawBenefits include:401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompetitive compensationAnd more!
