Translate and cascade the SBU strategy into area of responsibility to secure target achievement in line with FHCS and Professional (B2B Business Unit selling to professional cleaners in the areas of clean room, hotel, hospitality and healthcare) strategies, KPI's, and goals; involved in the creation of SBU strategy.
Achievement of the local financial business targets (Sales, Profit, WC, Cash Flow) and other non-financial targets.
Develop plans and take actions to expand business and organization ensuring own full leadership and own/team operational involvement on wide range of activities in scope.
Ensure effective HR and people management, proactive talent management and selecting, orienting, developing, coaching, counselling and disciplining subordinates and staff; define new organizational set up and/or challenge the existing organization to always ensure competitiveness and alignment to strategy.
Act as a corporate entrepreneur by creating, developing, and executing ideas, programs, and initiatives which are relevant not only for the regional or local organizations but for the company overall; initiate projects in line with corporate standards and FHCS/Professional strategy.
Ensure full governance of and compliance with all Freudenberg and FHCS stated practices, strategic objectives, and reporting deadlines, as well as defined corporate policies and guidelines.
Ensure a seamless and target group-oriented communication, execution, and monitoring of all relevant corporate, regional, and local topics.
Act as an ambassador and ultimate representative of the SBU Professional and FHCS organization within the region; build company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, authorities, and employees in line with the Guiding Principles and ethical business practices.
Initiate and lead projects to further develop and drive continuous improvement cross functionally, encouraging the sharing of best practices among countries (e.g. sales excellence projects, lean methodology, digital competencies, people management etc.).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Proven record of accomplishment of 10 years or more in successful management of complex P&L's in a truly international / regional set-up within the B2B market in our market segments, preferably in cleaning sector.
Fluent in English required, other languages a plus.
Multifunctional experience, with dedicated functional experience in Marketing and Sales, other functions beneficial.
Strong strategic thinking skills, with a strong appetite for growth, entrepreneurial attitude, and ability to set tactics that establish a roadmap of execution.
Strong skills and proven track record in business development (entering new customer groups) and also in customer acquisition (“hunter” vs. “farmer” profile).
Well rounded, experienced, and team-oriented leader with strong qualities in building trust, disciplined collaboration, talent management, organizational development, and lead change management processes.
High ability and willingness to ensure full legal and ethical compliance.
Proven ability to lead innovative development initiatives effectively and persuasively, even beyond own area of responsibility.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the full value chain, market, trade, customers, and competitors, proven management of complexity combined with analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective communication and negotiating approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills, paired with a positive executive attitude and presence.
In-depth understanding of Principles, key financial figures, and KPI’s.
Must be willing to undertake an important number of travels mainly at regional level and occasionally to FHCS Headquarter in Weinheim, Germany, or to other locations in case of international meetings.
