Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the automotive and marine sector. Directly act as interface with the clients/customers to develop the battery systems business.Support our overall market/communication approach and help to further build the FEPS brand name in the market.Be directly involved in defining and carrying out FEPS and correspondingly the SBU’s market strategy and target customer selection.Build a team of account managers and application engineers, managing the entire customer relationship, contract landscape, and product supply/RMA process in close alignment with relevant internal departments.Align within the sales team and other FEPS departments to ensure homogenous processes and quick global responses according to our customers’ needs.Take responsibility for the overall growth and profitability of customer programs related to battery systems. Regularly monitor progress against the AOP/strategic plan, provide input into production, customer service, and SCM teams, and take appropriate corrective measures upon negative deviations.Along with our product management team, closely support our engineering team in defining future product needs and successfully launching new product lines into the market, including coordination of pilot customer programs.Be involved in the annual sales planning and long-term strategic sales and capacity planning with senior management and peers. Your work will directly guide the staging of multi-million-dollar investment programs.Provide your team’s input into the monthly management reporting on sales intake, customer activities, etc.Qualifications:

B.S. degree or master’s degree in engineering and/or Business (or related field).Minimum 10 years prior experience in automotive sales & key account management with progressive leadership experience.Li-ion battery experience is a large plus.Willing to travel up to 40% throughout North America and occasionally globally.Proficient in CRM; results-driven and customer-focused.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
