We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of material handling projects, ensuring high standards of performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.The Project Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage engineering deliverables, support installation phases, and ensure successful project completion. This role is pivotal to the seamless execution of projects, requiring technical acumen, project coordination skills, and a strong focus on customer needs.Your tasks
Job Purpose
Project Engineering & Support
Assist in designing and engineering solutions for automated material handling systems.Support project teams in developing detailed engineering plans and coordinating project resources.Provide technical support throughout project lifecycles, including installation, testing, and commissioning.Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with project managers, customers, and external vendors to clarify project needs, resolve technical issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.Act as a key liaison between engineering, operations, and sales to streamline project communication and execution.Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure that engineering deliverables meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain project integrity and operational safety.Continuous Improvement & Optimization
Identify and suggest enhancements for engineering processes and project execution methods.Monitor project outcomes to drive improvements in design, resource efficiency, and overall system performance.Job Requirements
Training/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).Professional Experience:
Experience in project engineering or design within the material handling or automation industry.Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Strong understanding of project management principles, with exposure to methodologies like Agile and Lean being a plus.Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional technical problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic project environment.Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.Understanding of automated material handling systems or similar technologies is preferred.
