Huntsman is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications supporting the Huntsman International LLC Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Director - Corporate Communications.

We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional who will bring positive energy, creativity, and fresh ideas to join our dynamic and collaborative Global Corporate Communications team.

In summary, as the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, you will:

Content Strategy:

Develop engaging and informative content and implement communications plans for Huntsman Corporate Functions teams in line with each Function’s yearly goals and objectives. Content can be internal and external and may include internal/external news articles, employee or community stories, e-mail, townhalls, surveys, videos, social media, website, event materials, digital graphics, presentations, FAQs, talking points, print collateral.

Brand Management:

Firm grasp of corporate branding fundamentals and design best practices. Uphold Huntsman brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects in coordination with the Legal department.

Digital Communications:

Website:

Manage daily requests to update website content in line with Huntsman brand and messaging standards.

Social Media:

Create content and manage company’s corporate social media content calendar on a daily basis. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to write and implement social media campaigns, including creating, posting, and managing content, tracking analytics, and monitoring community response and engagement.

Digital Graphics:

Use software to create visual communications content for different social media platforms and Huntsman website.

Intranet/Sharepoint:

Familiar using SharePoint to write and create internal news stories and articles. Track and analyze analytics and adapt content accordingly.

Stakeholder Relationships:

Ability to work with internal leaders across multiple teams/groups and effectively communicate project timelines and deliverables. Manage external third-party and vendor relationships.

Continuous Improvement:

Demonstrate growth mindset, solutions-focused approach, and team leadership to drive efficiency, consistency, and value within the Corporate Communications team and function.

Additional Communications Experience:

Crisis Communications, change management communications, media/public relations, event management and planning is a plus.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, public relations, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

10+ years of relevant work experience preferably in a corporate or business unit/division communications and marketing team in chemical, manufacturing, or oil & gas industries.

Business-to-business (B2B) marketing and sales activities for chemicals, industrial or manufacturing preferred.

Interpersonal Skills:

Proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to bring highly creative ideas to the table, devise a plan, and execute according to budget and timelines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization, including Executives.

Ability to multitask on various projects, while effectively communicating timelines to key stakeholders.

Demonstrates attention to detail, cooperation, and follow-through for all projects including time and budget management.

Generates a sense of energy and excitement to deliver while leveraging creative problem-solving skills to propose new solutions and ideas.

Demonstrates leadership and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Strong bias for action and ability to adapt quickly to new or ambiguous situations.

Technical Skills:

Top-notch writing, editing, and proofreading skills are required. (Note: Associated Press style is our standard). Works effectively with designers to create visual communications.

Proficiency in digital platforms: social media, website, e-mail communications.

Comfortable using communications software including, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite, SharePoint, Teams.
