Position Overview:
Motiva is seeking a
Graphic Designer
with a strong corporate background to join our Public Affairs team. In this role, you will create engaging and innovative digital and print content that reinforces our brand identity and drives employee/stakeholder engagement. Your design and multimedia portfolio should reflect a high aptitude for visual communications - helping cut through the noise and illustrate messages through high-quality, memorable content. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of visual design with the ability to translate requirements into creative solutions while working collaboratively as part of a corporate team. Your work will span various communication channels including our website, intranet, social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital signage.
Responsibilities:
Graphic Design: Develop strategic and visually appealing graphics and illustrations for digital and print media, including website assets, digital signage, brochures, flyers, posters, presentations, and more, while leveraging brand standards.Multimedia Content: Design engaging multimedia content, including videos, animations, and interactive elements that capture and retain an audience's attention.Brand Identity: Maintain a consistent and cohesive brand identity across all materials, ensuring brand guidelines are followed while finding innovative ways to push creative boundaries.Photography/Videography: Capture photos and edit videos for projects and communications campaignsCollaboration: Regularly engage with team members to understand the scope of project(s) and provide fit-for-purpose solutions. Adhere to internal creative design request and asset management processes, and effectively manage stakeholders.Experience and Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Communications Design, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) as a Graphic Designer or similar role in a corporate setting, showcasing a diverse portfolio of work across different design disciplines and mediumsProficiency in industry-standard design and multimedia software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Animate, etc.)Experience incorporating graphic elements into Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple designs simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising qualityAbility to adapt to changing priorities and maintain creativity under tight deadlinesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and deliver excellence without considerable direction.Natural inclination to upskill and stay current with design trends, software updates and emerging technology, integrating into work when appropriate
