The Department of Neurosurgery, Joe R. Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine (LSOM), at UT Health San Antonio is part of a nationally recognized medical center dedicated to promoting education, advancing research, and delivering compassionate patient care of the highest quality. We are searching for like-minded advanced practice providers (APP) to join our faculty team and help us pursue our mission.Our Neurosurgery clinic is expanding its team to provide outstanding coverage on weekdays. Our current team is composed of Neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, and a varied group of residents, fellows, and allied health professionals. Our ideal candidate will provide clinical services at the MARC, MSRH, or UHS clinics.The successful candidates will have unique opportunities to work with autonomy and contribute to a team of prominent neuroscience professionals who are highly regarded within their respective specialties. Apply today or contact us to learn more.Additional Licenses and CertificationsState licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and national certification to practice as a nurse practitioner from an agency approved by the Texas Board of Nursing is required.ORA Bachelor’s degree in a recognized field of science and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program is required.Preferred qualifications:Advanced Practice Provider experience working in a Neurosurgery clinic dealing with pre-op and post-op cases in inpatient and outpatient settings.UT Health San Antonio offers a highly competitive salary, comprehensive insurance package, and generous retirement plan.
