This role will be located at our Loveland, Ohio, or Englewood, Colorado facility.We are seeking a Director, Government Contracts who will be responsible for supporting our business development efforts and successfully growing the business through Beehive's additively enabled propulsion systems. This role will be responsible for developing the business strategies to be compliant with DoD, FAR, and DFAR contracting requirements. The role will support contract actions from pursuit, capture, and execution.Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the overall contracts strategy to support organizational goals.Provide leadership and direction to the commercial team, ensuring alignment with DoD and company objectives.Contract Execution & Management:
Oversee the full lifecycle of the contracts within the commercial and program team from proposal development to contract closeout.Ensure contracts comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including FAR and DFARS.Track and communicate the key issues and status of the contracts portfolio relative to contract requirements to leadership and present recommended solutions.Negotiation:
Support negotiations with contractors, vendors, and government entities.Secure favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risk to the organization.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10 plus years with DoD contracting experience is necessary, and familiarity with propulsion systems or applications for propulsion systems is desired.5+ years in a leadership role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.Military veterans preferred.If this sounds like you, please submit an application with your resume. is $180,000-$230,000 base salary.
