The Work:The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of very large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for alignment to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific guidance to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.Agile development and delivery of softwareMonolithic Application Support and MaintenanceMicroservices Architecture migrationUser Interface and User Experience with enhanced workflowsDevSecOps and Automation of CI/CD pipelineHelp Desk and 24X7 system call-in and on-call support/maintenanceBasic Qualifications:BS degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineAbility to obtain TS/SCI w/poly clearanceDesired Skills:At least 1 year of UI/UX experienceUtilizing principles of UX/UI designPython, Javascript (React/React-Native/D3.js)Experience with Git/ GitHubExperience with APIsExperience working with a teamClearance Level:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $62,900 - $120,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
