Manager of CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Santa Monica, CA / Full Time / Hybrid Moon Juice is looking for a data-driven and highly collaborative Manager of CRM Lifecycle Marketing who can support the strategy and execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing initiatives that drive meaningful revenue impact. This role will set up, run and measure email and SMS campaigns from ideation to deployment. This person must be an excellent project manager who feels comfortable working cross-functionally to deliver results. Reporting to the VP Marketing, this role is essential to the day-to-day operations of our marketing team and will directly collaborate with our Creative, Operations, and Ecommerce teams. Moon Juice HQ is located in Santa Monica, CA and requires in-office collaboration 2 days per week. Key Responsibilities Strategize and build Moon Juice’s customer journey stages and create initiatives for each stage of the customer journey, including acquisition, conversion, retention, and winback. Build and execute campaigns and automated flows using our ESP (Klaviyo) and SMS provider (Attentive) to create engaging, personalized consumer journeys. Manage all email & SMS program activities, coordinating cross-functional collaboration and execution of the content calendar. Utilize advanced data analytics to identify customer insights, trends, and opportunities for improving customer retention and loyalty via segmentation and personalization. Identify key metrics for lifecycle programs and continuously iterate on ways to improve them. You’ll be responsible for reporting on these metrics to the leadership team on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Audit and relaunch Moon Juice’s loyalty program, deepening consumer relationships and driving ROI for the business. Effectively leverage the Moon Juice subscription value propositions to drive increases in first order subscription rate and overall subscription health metrics. Build cross-functional relationships internally, working closely with our Marketing, Creative, Operations, and Ecommerce teams. Design and implement ambitious A/B and multivariate tests across lifecycle channels. Manage research efforts and surveys that help inform our lifecycle programs and ensure we put the customer experience front and center. Own the analysis and reporting of all lifecycle channels’ KPIs and forecast performance to help set and pace toward team revenue goals. Core Skills and Qualifications 5 years’ experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, or Loyalty marketing for a premium ecommerce brand – experience with a subscription brand is a big plus Analytical thinker with experience leveraging data to identify optimization opportunities and inform business decisions Keen interest in staying plugged in to digital growth industry trends Strong ability to stay organized while juggling multiple projects involving cross-functional stakeholders Extensive experience with Email Service Providers (ESPs), database segmentation queries and triggered customer journeys, to be able to write clear requirements for development resources to follow. Sharp QA skills to spot copy, functional, rendering or segmentation query errors before a campaign deploys. Experience architecting A/B and cohort tests to isolate the variables that will prove a hypothesis right or wrong. An experimentation mindset and an ability to act and adapt based on what the data is telling you. Ability to understand the voice and perspectives of multiple personas. Expertise in crafting effective list development, segmentation, and automation strategies. Experience building lifecycle / engagement / loyalty marketing programs from scratch. Proficiency with Excel and analytics platforms like Tableau, GA. Analytical skills to interpret campaign data, draw insights, formulate new strategies from those insights, and present recommendations. A passion for wellness and sustainability is a big plus.
