Telecom Construction Manager

Position Overview: The Senior Telecommunications Construction Manager will lead and manage telecommunications construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires extensive experience with AT&T projects and a strong background in tower construction and OSP development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of telecommunications construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Coordinate with AT&T representatives and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project specifications and requirements. Lead a team of project managers, engineers, and field personnel, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans; monitor progress and adjust as necessary to meet objectives. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess project progress, safety practices, and adherence to plans. Facilitate effective communication among team members, subcontractors, and clients to address any issues or concerns promptly. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, implementing solutions as needed. Foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the construction team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in telecommunications construction management, with a focus on AT&T projects. Proven experience in the construction of towers and OSP infrastructure. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Proficient in project management software and tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
