Job Description***Only qualified Business Analyst candidates located near the Baton Rouge, LA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Qualification/Skills/Experience:
• Four (4) years' experience in data migration, cleansing and conversion projects
• Three (3) years' experience in data analysis using SQL queries to assist with the technical design effort, data cleansing effort and resolution of bugs/defects
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs
• Ability to create complex SQL queries
Preferred Qualification/Skills/Experience:
• Experience with Corrections processes
• Ability to understand complex business problems
• Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues
• Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and legacy systems
• Understanding of database platforms and database design
Job Duties:
• Support resource for data migration and conversion activities
• Documenting business processes and requirements around data conversion approaches
• Translate requirements into functional and technical designs, including implementing stories and process flows
• Recommend eliminating, retaining, or enhancing business processes and documenting those results**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
