Some of what you'll do Determine progressive physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and caregivers; partner with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists and others regarding individual treatment plans Assess patients, plan and implement treatment programs which may include the use of physical agents, manual therapy, gait and balance training and therapeutic exercise Assess patients need for adaptive equipment and train staff in the proper use of the equipment Instruct and train other team members, and encourage and assist patients in performing physical activities Assist in providing direction and coordination of the physical therapy program Job success will be measured by your ability to
