FINANCE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT SCOPE OF WORK

Title:

Finance Management Consultant

(This is a consultant role with the possibility to transition into a full-time employee position based on performance and budget availability.)

Salary Range:

$50 - $80 per hour based on experience

Organization:

Kai Ming, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides free full-day full-year and full-day part-year services to eligible children ages 0-5 years old in San Francisco, CA with funding primarily from Head Start, the California Department of Education, San Francisco Department of Early Childhood.

Report to:

Director of Finance

Scope of Work Supporting the fiscal team to accomplish program goals in various capacities including but not limited to:

Track & monitor grants and expenditures; provide recommendations and analysis reports based on funding guidelines and organizational goals Review daily accounting operation processes and provide recommendations for improvements Assess the current Sage Intact Accounting system setup; recommend and implement new configurations as needed Develop timelines and oversee the implementation of improvement projects and conduct evaluations Other projects or tasks as assigned based on department needs

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Consultant with experience in Head Start programs will be given preference. Experience: Six (6) years of experience working in a non-profit or equivalent environment with at least 3 years at management level preferrable. Other Requirements:
