We are seeking an experienced
Salesforce Architect
for our client in the Waste Management industry to lead and oversee Salesforce solution design and implementation. This senior-level role will involve architecting customized Salesforce solutions to address waste management industry needs, including route optimization, customer engagement, asset tracking, and service management. The Salesforce Architect will collaborate with business leaders to understand and anticipate their requirements, translating them into scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform to develop solutions that streamline operations, enhance customer service, and drive efficiency in the waste management lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end architectural design for Salesforce implementations, ensuring solutions align with best practices, industry standards, and the organizations strategic goals.Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams, to gather requirements and translate them into innovative, efficient Salesforce solutions tailored to the waste management industry.Develop, document, and oversee implementation best practices and design patterns to guarantee high-quality, maintainable solutions.Ensure scalability, performance, and security of Salesforce applications, providing technical oversight during development and implementation phases.Coordinate and conduct architectural review sessions and provide guidance to internal and external teams on integration, data management, and process automation.Identify and mitigate potential risks within Salesforce implementations, optimizing workflows for service dispatch, asset management, and customer interactions.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects and Salesforce developers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.Stay updated on the latest Salesforce technologies, tools, and practices, applying these to enhance organizational capabilities and support continuous improvement.Requirements
Education : Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications : Preferred certifications include
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
or
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer .
Experience :
Minimum of
7+ years of hands-on experience
in Salesforce architecture and solution design.Proven track record of architecting large-scale Salesforce implementations, preferably within asset-intensive industries like waste management, utilities, or logistics.Proficiency in
Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds , with experience in multi-org architecture and designing reusable, scalable solutions.Technical Skills :
In-depth knowledge of
Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components , and
SOQL .Strong understanding of integration design patterns, experience with
SOAP/REST APIs , and middleware platforms like
MuleSoft .Proficiency in data migration, managing complex data models, and leveraging Salesforce for operational efficiency.Soft Skills :
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Leadership abilities to coach and direct technical teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Location : This is an onsite role, requiring presence at the organizations facilities to facilitate hands-on collaboration and support.
