Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Ellsworth, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel TNAA 1175160 EMR: Cerner/Epic MANAGER INTERVIEW MUST HAVE PRIOR TRAVEL EXPERIENCE o Number of ORs: 4 o Minimum Years of Experience? § RN: 5 years preferred, but will take 3 years § CST: 5 years preferred, but will take 3 years o Will you accept a first-time traveler? No, need at least 1 travel assignment · Case Types: o Adults and peds, but minimal peds o General surgeries (open and laparoscopic) – bowel, gallbladder, appendix, hernias, portacath, fistulas o Urology – laser lithotripsy, nephroureteral stent insertion/removal, vasectomies, TURPs o ENT – T&As, endoscopic sinus, facial lesions, thyroids, nick dissection o OBGYN – C-sections, tubal ligations, D&Cs, D&Es, hysteroscopies, hysterectomies, uterine ablations o Ortho – Total joints (knees and hips, only a few shoulders), fractures, wrists, ankles, ACL repairs, fingers, carpal tunnel, rods (bipolar and nailings); podiatry (can be trained) o Endoscopies – EGDs and colonoscopies (experience not required) o Do not need robotics experience o No conscious sedation cases o All staff will help turn over rooms · Cases performed per day (average): o Average about 25 cases per day · Required Licensure and Certifications: o RN: BLS, ACLS o Scrub Color: Surgical scrubs provided o Parking: Free About Travel Nurse Across America At TNAA, we take pride in doing things differently.
