**Job Description:**- Work in a unit with 24 beds focused on inpatient oncology and hospice care.- Day Shift staffing goal includes 1 charge nurse, 4-5 nurses on the floor, 2 techs, and 1 secretary.- Maintain patient ratios of 5-6:1.- Utilize Meditech EMR system for patient documentation.- Assist with procedures for Med-Surg, oncology, and hospice patients.- Demonstrate a positive and caring attitude in a family-oriented work environment.- May float to other Med-Surg areas within the hospital as needed.- Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.- Availability for 2-3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule is necessary.- Prior oncology/chemotherapy and hospice experience preferred or considered a plus.
