A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL-TIME CYBER TRAINING SPECIALIST
As a Cyber Training Specialist, you will provide SME support to the management of a client-wide training program, including coordinating with Combatant Commands to ensure assigned forces are trained, certified, and interoperable with other Joint Forces. Establish and maintain training and certification standards for joint cyberspace operations forces enabling cyber operations. Assess the effectiveness of training to ensure it meets objectives, reinforces Joint standards, and facilitates the readiness assessment of cyberspace forces. Develop requirements for collective training and exercise events, including training evaluations assessments, and assist with identifying and tracking observations and lessons learned from training and exercise events both internally to the client and across the joint forces. Develop and provide recommendations to the client regarding strategy, doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures for the employment of cyberspace operations forces. Assist with the coordination and development of mission essential tasks, review of mission essential task lists, and assessing the client's ability to meet the mission essential task list standards. Support the validation of CMF and other assigned forces to meet the training standards necessary to execute combatant command cyberspace operations support requirements effectively.
Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with training standards and developing training pipelines 1+ years of experience with developing and maintaining job qualification standards (JQS) Experience with basic computer tools, including Microsoft Office Suite Experience with data gathering using various techniques, including working groups, interviews, and survey Ability to work independently and with groups TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with supporting a Joint Duty Assignment Experience with providing briefs to senior leaders Experience with data analytics for training execution statistics Knowledge of policy, governance, and service Knowledge of service training, accessions, manpower, and presentation models Knowledge of cyber workforce framework, including Nice Possession of excellent data analysis skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
