Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in the blow molding industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and supporting the overall growth strategy of our organization. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in the manufacturing sector.Key Responsibilities:• Identify and qualify potential customers through research, networking, and outreach efforts to expand our client base in the blow molding market.• Work closely with the Customer Service Team to assure everyone is aware of any customer needs, incoming orders or problems.• Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and follow-up communications to engage prospects and convert leads into opportunities.• Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic initiatives.• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in targeted companies, understanding their needs and how our solutions can address them.• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and campaigns that drive growth and increase brand awareness in the blow molding sector.• Gain a deep understanding of our blow molding products and services to effectively communicate value propositions and technical specifications to potential clients.• Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market feedback to inform management and refine strategies.• Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing satisfaction with our services.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in a technical market will be considered.• 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.• Knowledge of the blow molding industry, including materials, processes, and applications, is a plus.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.What We Offer:• Competitive salary and commission structure.• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plans.• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
