Export Customer Service Representative

In partnership with our chemical manufacturing client, we are seeking an experienced Export Customer Service Representative to be based in Deer Park, TX.
You will:
receive and enter sales orders into SAP and review orders already in the system be responsible for ensuring that the order entry, shipping, billing, and documentation information is accurate for each order assist customers and sales with export inquires pertaining to INCOTERMS, payment terms, documentary collections, letter of credit operations for air, ocean and intermodal transport support basic supply chain to terminals, warehouses, or other source points, which may include SAP support and documentation assistance within the order handling process coordinate with sales, marketing and scheduling group to strategize and implement plans to deal with supply situations provide accurate documentation instructions to enable the freight forwarder to send documents to the customer or bank correctly handle Export bookings - corresponding with steamship lines, air carriers and freight forwarders develop the trust and respect of customers and co-workers through timeliness, accuracy and dependability. look for opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the order handling processes strengthen the group by sharing knowledge and experiences with others You have:
a high school diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience specific to order entry, production scheduling, problem resolution, and the transportation industry knowledge of international logistics, trade, and compliance experience with export (international) shipping, ocean carriers, and freight forwarding knowledge of boycott violations and country requirements as appropriate 2-3 years SAP experience excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for someone who:
can work independently within a team environment multitasks, prioritizes, organizes, and follows through on commitments takes initiative displaying a "can do" attitude prioritizes problem-solving develops the trust and respect of customers and co-workers.
