Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:
Transportation & Delivery
Deliver bulk petroleum orders to c-stores and cardtrol locations safely, following regulations.Operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner and manage vehicle maintenance.Deliver, connect, and maintain petroleum equipment.Respond to after-hour calls from team members when appropriate.Works extended hours as requested by supervisor to ensure good customer service in busy season.Communicate safe storage and handling procedures to fellow team members.Documentation & Procedures
Complete all driving logs and other documentation in an accurate, neat, and timely manner.Maintain electronic delivery records & tickets.Comply with all DOT, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and NEW Cooperative safety programs, polices, and procedures.Sales & Marketing
Collaborate with energy salespeople to increase sales of petroleum and related products.Assist in developing and promoting competitive marketing strategies/plans.Maintain current knowledge of products & services offeredMaintenance
Ensures that work area, equipment, and vehicles are all neat, clean, and well maintained.Maintain cleanliness of equipment to promote a positive company image.Performs or schedules repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.Visually inspect tanks, pumps, and other location equipment during filling. Alert location manager or supervisor.Other
Uses all tools, equipment, and vehicles carefully and for their intended use.Assist in other areas of the location as needed.Basic Employment Expectations:

Qualifications & Requirements
Must be licensed and insurable to drive.Must have at least a Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Tanker and HazMat endorsements. Class A CDL preferred.Must have an understanding of the weather conditions and know that temperatures may be below or above normal, depending upon the time of year and adjustment is necessary to maintain high levels of customer service.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment.Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of organization.Possesses problem solving capability and understand the operational processes.
