GENERAL FUNCTION
To generate, manage and maintain Walman Optical customer business relationships as they relate to both Plano and prescription eyewear specifically designed and manufactured to ANSI Z87.1 standards. Covers all sales functions in their defined territory, including, but not limited to, the following: new business development, forecasts, solicits, and secured orders from potential and existing customers, provides customers service as required and prepares periodic reports as required. The position also requires the ability to design and develop sales and marketing pieces on a case specific basis upon corporate approval.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate and manage Walman optical industrial eyewear customer accounts, including private sector, public sector, and ophthalmic distribution channels.Assist in the design and development of Walman Optical industrial eyewear promotion and marketing materials.Possesses a comprehensive understanding of ANIS Z87.1 Standards as they relate to the manufacture and application of industrial safety eyewear.Collect, understand and employ business and industry information to improve the sales representatives ability to service customers.Generate, develop and maintain "dispensing panels" of cooperating eyecare professionals to assist Wallman Optical industrial eyewear end-users in the ordering and dispensing of industrial safety eyewear.Developing and managing new performance goals relative to the business plan. Follows the Walman Optical 4DX and Sales process as required.Administratively, Sales Representative communicates call plans, call results, business issues to the branch, safety sales support and corporate management personnelPerforms reporting utilizing Salesforce.comAssists and participates in the planning of State and Local Conventions.Willingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload.Provides proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced employees. Attends in-house or Walman sponsored training meetings when necessaryPerforms other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree5+ years of experience working in the optical industry or combination of relevant education and experienceOutside sales territory and call cycle management experienceStrong interpersonal skillsAttention to details and data analysisStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.Ability to solve various problems that may involve multiple departments within the companyStrong computer skills; Microsoft - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookWillingness to travel and ability to drive a company automobilePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or similarProfessional outside B2B selling skills in healthcare arena
Pay Range: - 95,544.90
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
