Secret Cleared Network Technician/Administrator
to join a 24/7 networking operational environment for DoD information network (DODIN) based out of
Hill Air Force Base in UT/Scott AFB in IL . The
Secret Cleared Network Technician/Administrator is responsible for configuring and troubleshooting network and telecommunications devices for a DoD customer.
Location: Scott AFB, IL or Hill AFB, UT
Clearance: Active Secret
Certification
Responsibilities of the
Secret Cleared Network Technician/Administrator
include:•Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loops, alarms, and error indicators, along with various troubleshooting methods•Employ network monitoring tools to oversee, track, and resolve problems, escalating them as needed•Manage and update tickets using the Remedy system•Troubleshoot network technologies in a live, global environment•Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and ensure the desired security posture is attained and maintained.•Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, phone systems, including phone units, voicemail, switches, infrastructure, call manager systems, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems video recording/viewing/distribution systems, and related telecommunications trunk circuits.•Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices including MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical.
Qualifications for the
Secret Cleared Network Technician/Administrator•Active Secret Clearance•CompTIA Sec+ or equivalent•Experience supporting SATCOM and DoD networks•Experience with LAN/WAN•Able to work in a shift work environment
Compensation for the
Secret Cleared Network Technician/Administrator:• Pay Rate:
$55,000-$82,000+*depending on experience and education*• Benefits:
