This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 - 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Marketing Coordinator on NBC Sports Digital and Emerging Business team, you will support marketing programs and partnerships designed to increase audio and video content consumption for podcasts/shows, nbcsports.com and other digital distribution channels (revenue generation and Peacock subscriptions for both residential and commercial).

You will work closely with various business units across NBC Sports and Peacock as well as outside partners and agencies.

Responsibilities

With the direction and support of the Sr. Director, implement strategic marketing plans supporting audience development and revenue growth across digital properties

Develop tracking/reporting documents to help activate and recap promotional efforts across various initiatives

Participate in the ideation and brainstorming of creative and promotional content.

Manage audio commercial inventory with Sirius XM inclusive of podcast promo spots and commercial swaps with NBC News and Entertainment

Work closely with the Production team and show producers to ensure marketing materials are delivered to support tune-in, sales and other marketing initiatives

Liaison with the Social, CRM and Content teams to develop, implement and track campaign efforts

Work with internal and external design teams on the creative development and implementation of campaign assets including digital banners and promo spots

Participate in the ideation and brainstorming of creative and promotional content

Collaborate with all parts of the larger NBC Sports team and NBC Universal on cross-company efforts

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field; or equivalent work experience

Minimum of one (1+) year relevant work experience or related internship

Desired Characteristics:

General knowledge of and a passion for sports and digital media

Experience using design programs such as Adobe Photoshop a plus

Detailed oriented

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
