Job Description

The Merchandiser position is responsible for commuting to various stores to check their inventory on certain products. The merchandiser will be held responsible for filling out a checklist for each store tour during their route. Some other responsibilities include taking photos of the stocking shelves to send to leads to understand which store needs more immediate help, must have the ability to speak to customers/store owners, and may need to go to their back room to survey their inventory. They’ll be tasked with ensuring the locations have the client’s and new items stocked and available in major grocery stores in the afternoon/evening.

Responsibilities

Commute to various stores to check their inventory on certain products.

Fill out a checklist for each store tour during their route.

Take photos of the stocking shelves and send them to leads.

Speak to customers/store owners.

Survey inventory in the back room.

Ensure the locations have the client’s and new items stocked and available in major grocery stores.

Track daily which locations they are going to and their mileage.

Essential Skills

Retail experience

Merchant service experience

Clean professional demeanor (customer-facing)

Reliable vehicle/transportation

Basic computer/RF scanner skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to present themselves and act professionally

Reliable transportation/Driver’s License

Working cell-phone with note-taking capability

Ability to work independently but effectively communicate during working hours

Previous merchandising experience is a plus

Work Environment

Shift: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm. Weekends are a must. Saturday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Sunday.
