Position Overview (Summary/Objective):
ARKA is looking for a
Network Engineer with CI and Full Scope Polygraph
to join our team. In this important role, you will be designing and implementing network system and security components including firewalls, switches, routers and cryptographic devices for a variety of projects, programs and customers for which ARKA provides cutting-edge solutions.
Responsibilities:Work with our customers to help solve their problems by designing and implementing network system components that support a variety of projects andWork with ARKA Systems Engineers, Program Managers and Project Engineers to interpret requirements from customers and architect solutions to meet their needsPerform installation, network connection and configuration tasks for network and cryptographic devicesDetermine what standard security policies are required and implement those policies as necessaryPerform test and verification activities to ensure network equipment is functioning per requirements and perform troubleshooting and anomaly resolution as neededDesign, scope, and implement technical solutions that scale across ARKA business areas and productsUnderstand that as a representative of ARKA internally and externally, your decisions and actions will have far-reaching impactExplore and integrate new technologies, transitioning operations from traditional administration and deployment to infrastructure as application leveraging automation/configuration management technologies.Daily maintenance/administration of multiple production systemsAssists with Back-ups and recoveryConfiguration and maintenance of the monitoring systemOccasional work after hours or weekends at our co-location facilityBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field preferred; SEC- TS/SCI and Full Scope Polygraph required5+ years of experience designing and implementing network solutionsExperience with Cisco network devices, NX-OS, Cisco IOS and Cisco ISEExperience with Palo AltoExperience working with customers to define solutions, including receiving, interpreting, and understanding user requirementsExperience managing and delivering a customer solution that meets a set of requirementsCCNA Routing and SwitchingPassionate about fostering good engineering practices and processesExcellent communication and analytical skills with an eye for detail and thoroughnessDemonstrated technical ownership in a project-based work environmentCOMPTIA Security +CI and Full Scope PolygraphPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with cryptographic device procurement activities, provisioning, and deploymentExperience with Juniper network devicesCCNP Routing and SwitchingExperience with telemetry and satellite communicationsLocation:
