West Basin Municipal Water District is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with experience in large budget administration and a passion for the water utility industry. West Basin, known globally for its innovative water recycling and resource management, provides drinking and recycled water to local retail water agencies serving nearly one million residents along the Southern California coast. The Chief Financial Officer will lead West Basin in aligning their financial strategy with long-term goals and sustainable growth, including funding significant capital improvement projects, investing in future infrastructure, and managing debt. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional budget administrator and strategic thinker, capable of forecasting challenges and making recommendations to a supportive Board. They will oversee a team of six staff and a District budget of approximately $233 million while serving as a capable and confident member of the executive team.
