About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial and business affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in financial services, ensuring legal and effective management practices, and serving as the chief financial and budget advisor to the superintendent and board of trustees. This role involves the direct and continuous monitoring of the management and investment of all district funds, as well as maintaining the integrity of all financial records and reports. The CFO will also be tasked with developing and preparing the district budget, maintaining the investment portfolio, and ensuring that all financial obligations are met in a timely manner. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for those with experience in school finance. A minimum of 2 years' experience in school finance or district business administration, along with 2 years' of supervisory experience in finance or accounting, is required. The role also involves personnel management, policy implementation, and oversight of various district operations, including human resources, student information systems, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, be adept at long-range and short-term business planning, and have a proven track record of leading a budgeting process.
