The CFO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for developing, recommending, and directing financial planning, management, and control systems to ensure the long-term viability of the company. This role involves providing financial reporting to the board of trustees, Financial Committee, and other boards, as well as working on value-based initiatives to redefine financial incentives. The CFO will also oversee all financial activities, including general accounting, patient financial services, financial statement preparation, investment management, and budget preparation. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field, be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and have at least 10 years of senior-level management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in hospital finance. Key responsibilities for the CFO include providing administrative direction and leadership for financial departments, developing financial goals, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading a high-performing finance department, managing capital expenditures, and investment strategies, and will be adept at navigating the complexities of value-based care.
