The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, offering sound financial guidance, projections, and modeling to support the organization's goals. This hands-on position requires the CFO to be deeply involved in accurate financial reporting, budget development, and the enforcement of financial controls. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing all aspects of federal grant reporting, ensuring compliance with auditing and financial standards, and building essential relationships with external agencies, contractors, and employees. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. At least 3 years in the healthcare sector is preferred, and previous experience with FQHC is a plus. The role demands expertise in interpreting financial statements, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster relationships both within and outside the organization. The CFO will be tasked with the development of financial policies and procedures, as well as the supervision of finance and billing teams.
