About the Role
Provide recruitment and selection services for Human Resources and Leadership team. This position delivers highly qualified candidates, while advancing the Magna brand across numerous markets and professional communities. Oversee the full lifecycle recruitment, selection, placement and talent management process while maintaining excellent relations with hiring team, candidates and the community at large. This position is an on-site full time role.
Your Responsibilities
Key Team Member of Human Resources Team for a plant of 400+ employees
Manages the full life cycle of the recruiting process.
Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers’ interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.
Works cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
Develops ongoing creative and cost effective sourcing strategies.
Coordinate job fairs with local organizations, schools, technical colleges and create and foster relationships with professional organizations.
Manage the internal job opportunity process.
Maintain and present up-to-date recruitment and selection data for leadership team, corporate, launch teams and auditors.
Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of hiring managers and in accordance with company guidelines.
Work under critical deadlines and heavy workloads with minimal supervision.
Prescreen candidates. Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Continuously learn and adapt to changes in talent acquisition practices and technologies.

Who we are looking for
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required.
Ability to develop and communicate appropriate metrics, interpret trends, and adjust strategies as needed in response to change.
Recruiting experience using social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) experience is required.
Ability to present in front of large groups of 30 or more people.
Customer focused, adaptable, has strong follow up and organizational skills
Your preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in full lifecycle recruiting, preferably in manufacturing
