CNO Financial Group’s Privacy Team is hiring a Manager, Privacy Program responsible for implementing a self-sustaining Privacy Program operating model and governance structure that spans a broad, highly complex and rapidly changing regulatory landscape. This role is a key member of privacy team leadership and will manage a small team of individual contributors. This role will be a key subject matter expert on privacy issues and the primary administrator of the OneTrust Privacy And Data Governance Platform.

As a Manager, Privacy Program, your responsibilities will include:
Develop project plans, milestones, and long-term road map to develop a comprehensive, scalable and efficiently managed enterprise privacy program in accordance with complex and evolving regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement work plans to configure, operationalize and govern multiple components of OneTrust Privacy and Data Governance Platform as needed to comply with a highly complex and dynamic regulatory environment.
Work in close collaboration with SVMO, ERM and Cyber Security Services teams to drive efficiencies across distinct but related risk management processes using the OneTrust platform
Manage and mentor Privacy Team individual contributor roles including Privacy Governance Analyst(s) and Privacy Consultant(s) roles.
Support the continuous improvement of strong data privacy practices across the organization through training/awareness, and other educational resources.
Work cross functionally with employees at all levels to ensure efficient integration of strong privacy practices and regulatory requirements into business operations.
The Manager, Privacy Program position is well-suited for you if you:
Show subject matter expertise in privacy principles, US and global privacy laws.
Understand Martech and Adtech ecosystems and impact on privacy and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate high-level experience with all components of OneTrust Privacy and Data Governance Platform.
Create actionable work plans, oversee to completion, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and/or ambiguous environment.
Articulate information and ideas orally and in writing; ability to communicate compelling ideas to impact and influence decision making.
Work with employees to ensure efficient integration of privacy requirements into business operations.
Switch between task-oriented approach and strategic perspective, adapting as needed to fulfill evolving needs of the organization.
Demonstrate superior critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effectively communicate and build strong relationships with technical and non-technical resources, company wide.
Work in an Agile environment as Product Owner.
Display superior interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of directly related experience.
At least one active CIPP certification and willingness to obtain additional certification(s) within one year of hire (CIPP-US, CIPP-PM, CIPP-EU, CIPP-T)
Five years of directly related work experience in Privacy Program Management.
What will set you apart:
Masters Degree/MBA in IT management or other technology related field; marketing/digital commerce.
Certifications/Licenses: CIPP-US, CIPP-PM, CIPP-EU and CIPP-T; CISSP; Certified PM.
Ten years of directly related work experience in Privacy Program Management.
