Required:•Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in West Palm Beach, FL (required);•Experience with various types of computer equipment and peripherals (e.g., computers, monitors, keyboards, cables).•Experience using Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and equipment documentation.•Valid driver's license, as travel to remote locations may be required.•Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.•Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 60 lbs.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:•Set up and deploy a variety of desktop computers and peripherals across District office locations.•Collect and sanitize (wipe) hard drives, organize, document, box, shrink-wrap, and transport equipment for surplus or disposal.•Scan new and old equipment to update the asset management database and create a detailed inventory list.•Assist with unloading, unboxing, and staging new hardware, and install standard and customer-specific software images and applications.•Deliver and set up new equipment, ensuring network connectivity and functionality, while removing old systems for disposal.•Resolve installation issues with Windows 11, Office 365, Teams, network connectivity, Citrix, and other hardware or software as required.•Organize and prepare legacy hardware for surplus by categorizing items, preparing lists, and moving equipment to designated areas.
